Beulah Strong papers, ca. 1888-1938.

Contains correspondence from and to Beulah Strong and other family members, especially to her aunt, Mary C. Morris (b. 1842), and of her mother, Delia Morris Strong (b. 1840). Most of the correspondence is from 1888-1890 when Strong was in Paris. Also photographs, including photographs of the arrival of Adolf Hitler in Florence, Italy, 1938 to meet Benito Mussolini.

Strong was born Dec. 20, 1866. She studied at Academies Julian and Colarossi, Paris, 1887-1891 and taught art at Potter College, Bowling Green, Kentucky, 1892-1901, Belmont College, Nashville, Tenn., 1902-1905, and Smith College, 1907-1923.
